Overview:Heckfield Place is a luxury country house hotel that sits among 400 acres of rolling Hampshire countryside. Heckfield Place will have 47 bedrooms - all individually designed and furnished while sharing a common warmth and English style. The hotel will have the feel of a private home where guests can seek solace in numerous intimate spaces in the 18th century manor house and wider estate. Private events at the hotel will range from literary salons to musical recitals to more gourmet-focused experiences, including foraging weekends in Heckfield’s ancient woodlands and wine tastings. There will be film clubs to be part of with an underground, state-of-the-art 60-seat cinema, and occasional author sessions in the hotel’s library. An indoor pool and spa will open at the same time as the hotel. Pubs, shops and quaint English villages, horse riding, golf, chalkstream fishing and major historical attractions are all in close proximity.
Heckfield Place is not just a country house hotel but a 400 acre estate where rare-breed livestock are raised and heritage vegetables are grown. Skye Gyngell is Culinary Director and her distinctive food philosophy will inform every aspect of dining at Heckfield Place, from sourcing and menus through to plating and presentation.
