Overview:Green Mountain Flour is a bakery and mill, providing local, stone-ground flour and grain products, wood-fired, hand crafted breads, and on-site pizza catering (with our mobile, wood-fired pizza oven). We mill all the grains in our own granite stone grist mill to ensure freshness, peak nutrition and taste.
In re-connecting the dots from our own local farmers to milling flour to breaking bread, Green Mountain Flour picks up the story of bread as it was once told, and carries it forward, as a living story that sustains our families, and our communities.
Breads and flours produced in this way are not a standardized commodity, they are artisanal products. Like high quality Vermont cheeses, these family farm, hand made products are of the highest quality and nutrition, but will vary from season to season, and year to year.
