Funcesp

Fundacao CESP is Brazil´s largest privately held pension fund, ranked 4th in the country. Total reserves amount to US$ 10 billion and total assets under management reaches US$ 7,5 billion. Number of participants in the pension plan is 46 thousand and annual amount paid to the retirees is around US$ 650 million. Fundacao CESP also manages a health plan with over 120 thousand members and pays approx. US§ 150 million per annum in medical expenses. Funcesp´s sponsors are the major energy companies in the State of Sao Paulo: Eletropaulo (AES Group), CPFL, CESP, CTEEP (Isa Group), Duke Energy, Elektro and Bandeirante (EDP Group).
