Family Centered Services works with families to ensure they are safe and nurturing places where children can succeed.

We believe all children have the right to live in a safe, nurturing environment, free from violence, abuse, and neglect.

For over 40 years, Family Centered Services of CT (formerly known as the Coordinating Council for Children in Crisis, Inc.) has been making a difference in the lives of children and families in our community. Family Centered Services of CT's work with families is based on the belief that all people, and all families, have strengths. This is a core principle of an empowerment-based family support model currently being taught by the Connecticut Family Development Institute to help families achieve healthy self-reliance and interdependence with their communities.
