Building upon the success of last year's event, the 2009 Downtown Film Festival will be positioned as an entertainment happening of note to residents of Downtown and throughout the L.A. metro area. At the same time, we will capture tens of millions of consumers’ attention via our comprehensive outdoor and print advertising campaign. In fact, we estimate 50 million impressions will be generated for sponsors of the festival. Last year's publicity and media exposure was driven by a multi-faceted campaign that included:

The 2009 Downtown Film Festival–L.A. will be held in many venues throughout downtown L.A.’s vibrant neighborhoods. After its successful launch last year, Downtown Film Festival - L.A. returns in full force, expanding from last year’s 5-day festival to 10 full days of programming. Highlights include: a music film programming series at The GRAMMY Museum at L.A. Live!, Hollywood film premieres at the former United Artists theater at the new AT&T Center in South Park, a Paul Newman retrospective with free, outdoor back-to-back screenings of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Hud at 7th+FIG plaza; “Sustainable L.A.,” an all-day green expo and environmental film series, “Digital Art L.A.,” an international selection of digital shorts and video installations along Gallery Row, and an experimental film program at SCI-arc in the Arts District.
