Founded in 2016, the Deployment Cigar Company (DCC) is a part of the Deployment Lifestyle brand.
Based on the life and adventures of clandestine forces and agents like Gary Bernsten, the former military and the CIA agent who led the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, the Deployment Cigar Company embraces the swag, honor, and loyalty found in the men and women of our military, espionage, LEO, and 1st responder services as well as the sacrifices they along with their families make.
Each of our cigar bands tell a story of political and military history/satire whether it be a historic time or place you can search online, a satirical commentary of a current event, or tribute to a fallen American hero and their family. Our mission is to educate and empower while offering an escape into the comforts of a premium cigar.
The Deployment Cigar Co and our elite products are inspired from the clandestine lifestyle of heroes like Gary Berntsen. Gary is a former member of the CIA's Clandestine Service and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Serving for more than two decades in the Central Intelligence Agency, he operated at the highest levels in the Middle East and Latin America and led the CIA's major counterterrorist deployments in East Africa following the attacks on the U.S. embassies in Nairoboi and Dar es Salaam. In hunting down Osama bin Laden he commanded the most successful CIA paramilitary term ever assembled, a tale spellbindingly told in his New York Time's bestseller Jawbreaker.
Berntsen is a recipient of the CIA's Distinguished Intelligence Medal and Intelligence Star.
