About Cardozo Law Review

The Cardozo Law Review was established in 1979, and is currently publishing its forty-fourth volume. It publishes six issues per year, which contain articles and student notes on a variety of legal topics. The Law Review is dedicated to advancing empirical, interdisciplinary, and philosophical scholarship, as well as exploring cutting-edge national issues. It consistently ranks among the top law journals in the country. The Law Review sponsors several symposia and lectures each year that delve into unique and intellectually stimulating areas of legal scholarship.

De•novo, Cardozo Law Review’s online journal, publishes shorter works of legal scholarship written by legal scholars, professors, judges, and practitioners, including Articles on timely legal issues, as well as responses to Articles that appear in the print journal. In addition, de·novo publishes several student Notes each year. De·novo hosts “online-symposia” that feature pieces of legal scholarship centered around selected legal issues in order to foster a timely and topical debate.
