Overview:NFL teams have been slow to adopt analytics into their decision making processes because of two reasons:
1) Understanding individual player contributions is much more difficult in football as compared to a sport like baseball.
2) Statistical output and psychological constructs are not easily communicated to coaches, players, and front offices.
Our goal is to blend statistical analysis and psychological theory so that NFL teams can understand the game like never before. We pride ourselves on both our expertise as well as our ability to communicate. We feature a staff of 8 graduate-level researchers each with a focus on a different area of the social sciences.
