Overview:Since the creation of Canada's first Executive MBA in 1968, the Simon Fraser University Beedie School of Business has championed lifelong learning, productive change, and the need to be innovative as we deliver world-class research and teaching that make an impact.
Our undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. programs demonstrate a spirit of innovation, flexibility and relevance. Supported by extensive partnerships with public, private and not-for-profit organizations, our goal is to produce broadly educated, enterprising, and socially responsible managers capable of making lasting contributions to their communities.
The Beedie School operates on all three Simon Fraser University campuses (Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey), with over 3,300 undergraduate students; over 250 MBA and graduate students at the Segal Graduate School campus; executive education programs at the director, executive and management levels; and a Ph.D. program. The past decade has been marked by the launch of a full-time and part-time MBA, Executive MBA in Aboriginal Business and Leadership, and Americas MBA for Executives.
The Beedie School of Business has achieved international accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and has received the EQUIS Quality award from the EFMD (European Federation for Management Development). Less than 1% of business schools worldwide have earned both of these international accreditations. The School is also committed to integrating the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).
