BAC also manages the operations and commercial aspects of the airport. In keeping with the recent trends in the aviation industry and the growth in passenger numbers, BAC has embarked on the Airport Modernization Program (AMP) in partnership with the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications; the AMP is set to upgrade the airport’s infrastructure and services and increase passenger and cargo handling capacity.
