In August, 2010 BND continued their expansion through the acquisition of the Goldstine Knapke brokerage company. GK brings with them an impressive real estate lineage through two of Fort Wayne’s oldest commercial real estate firms. Goldstine Knapke was formed in 1992 when Goldstine, Inc. and N.B. Knapke Co., Inc. partnered to create the firm. Goldstine, Inc., headed by co-owners Stephen J. Wesner and David J. Norton was founded by Hiram Goldstine in 1909. The company has represented local and national clients for over 100 years, earning a well-deserved reputation for excellence in brokerage services. N.B. Knapke Company, Inc., founded in 1948 by Norbert B. Knapke, is a leader in industrial and commercial development and will continue under the ownership of Philip J. Knapke.
The blending of these two established real estate firms creates the largest, most experienced commercial real estate company in northeastern Indiana with more than 500 years combined experience and more completed transactions than any other firm in the region.
