Software Development Engineer @ From July 2012 to Present (3 years 6 months) Software Development Engineer In Test @ Worked on Windows Azure SDK Quality Assurance. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining Azure SDK’s test automation framework for both Desktop Tools and Runtime Library in the cloud, providing partner team with tooling to facilitate End To End testing, and performing test sign off on time critical releases.
Built an internal daily test results collection service using Azure Storage and ASP.NET, which serves as a dashboard for viewing test results and performing failure investigation through RDP connection. From January 2011 to July 2012 (1 year 7 months) Graduate Research Assistant @ Designed a variant of TCP called TCP-ER, which improves TCP’ capability in delivering real time payload by performing early retransmission on lost packets. This protocol was first written into a module of C++ based network simulator NS2 for evaluation. Later TCP-ER was implemented into Linux Kernel 2.6.26.

From June 2009 to December 2010 (1 year 7 months) Software Development Engineer Intern @ Developed software for Windows Azure’s Infrastructure to support running RTM Windows Server 2008 R2 in the cloud.
Developed an emulation tool to enable testing host-guest communication on a desktop computer, using IIS Hostable Webcore, and C++ to build the mock host side server and a C# Wrapper to facilitate integration into existing test framework.
Designed, implemented and tested the Key Management Service (KMS) service used to activate RTM Windows Server 2008 R2 image running in the cloud. Using Windows Azure SDK to implement the service as a cloud application with redundancy to ensure its availability. From May 2010 to August 2010 (4 months) United States
