Yunha Kim was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. After graduating from high school, she moved to the United States and attended Bowdoin College. Yunha then spent two years working as a healthcare consultant in New York City before starting her own business, Simple Habit, in San Francisco Bay Area in 2016. With her team of world-class experts, Yunha helps busy people reduce daily stress with short meditations and audio therapy sessions. In 2018, Simple Habit was named one of the "Best Apps of 2018" by Google Play and won a Google Play Award for Standout Wellbeing App. In 2018, she also founded Simple Habit.

Yunha Kim has a degree in business administration from The George Washington University, and began her career as a business consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area. After successful completion of her business consultant training, she moved to the United Nations in February 2009 as a Summer Intern and, later, as a Co-founder and CEO at Locket in August 2015. At Locket, she was responsible for reimagining the real estate we check 110 times per day – our smartphone lock screens. In January of 2016, Yunha Kim was accepted into Google’s “Best Apps of 2014” program, and, as a result, became the first company to be featured on the Google Play Store’s “Standout Wellbeing App”. In March of that year, Simple Habit was featured on Forbes as one of the “4 Best Apps for improving stress country by country”, and in May of that year, Simple Habit was featured on Wall Street Journal’s “Fresh Air” program.As of early 2018, Simple Habit has raised $12.8 million from investors including Foundation Capital, Y Combinator, New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and many other prominent CEOs in Silicon Valley including Dropbox’s CEO Drew Houston and Gusto’s CEO Joshua Reeves.
