My role here mainly evolves around customer acquisition and strategies. We train customers to customize a one-size-fit-all software in the best way possible for their business model. The department not only manages training of customers but also maintaining relationship with customers from beginning to end of their subscription.
As the starter of this department, my biggest challenge on top of hiring the most suitable candidates, was to build the departments metrics. To name a few, managing retention and maintaining retention rates - keeping it at a constant low, customer engagement & happiness levels, response rates and resolution time. This is done through customer support, proactive and reactive calls, written enquiries, active live chat rooms, webinars, forum & community and more…
My largest achievement in TradeGecko was to refine our CRM software to cater to Customer Success specific measures; to put in place automated metrics to update daily recurring revenue & customer Lifetime Value from raw data, in depth Inventory Management understanding, and building processes for the department. This includes mapping out the day-to-day activities of an every person in operations. This is crucial to the training and growth of the department, to ensure measurability and clarity for all employees moving forward. From March 2014 to August 2014 (6 months) Regional Business Developer @ My main role is to support and assist clients on every detailed aspect of their experience with Pigeonlab from lead to close. This includes general inquiries, live demos, dashboard setup & troubleshooting, pricing & payment follow-ups, after sales support, and everything else in between.
As one of the teams key employees, I am given the opportunity to be involve in decision making processes such as hiring of new staffs, marketing initiatives, pricing plans, month-on-month sales strategies as well as interface designs.
My largest achievement in Pigeonlab was to turn one of our clients listed on Fortune 500 from a budding relationship into a “believer”. In seven months, we turned over more than 50 repeated sales! From November 2012 to February 2014 (1 year 4 months) SingaporeCommercialisation Executive @ My main role is to be an agent within the technopreneur ecosystem - linking entrepreneurs to industry partners such as mentors, funders, angel investors, corporates and other business relations. We connect people. Our lean team of four managed a pool of 300 mentors, over 150 active startups in the pre-seed stage & another 30 startups in the seed stage.
My biggest accomplishment in Cradle was when I was appointed as the Secretariat for large scale event hosted by the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia. I was put in charge of all the correspondences related to this event and was the main liaison for all the speakers, sponsors, partner, government bodies, and delegates.
The greatest challenge I faced in this job was my first assignment to give a 60-minute informational talk on Cradle. Of course, it got better over time. :) From September 2011 to October 2012 (1 year 2 months) Equity Research Assistant @ My role in this job was to obtain and compile financial data of equity stocks from various data sources, ensuring distribution of reports to stock brokers and clients in a timely manner.
