Yossi Matias has a PhD from Tel Aviv University and a MSc from Weizmann Institute. He has a background in physics. He has since 1965 worked in the physics laboratories of The Hebrew University and the Sackler Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Hebrew University-Rolla in Rolla, France. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Geneva in Switzerland.Matias has written several books and articles on electromagnetism, strong fields and plasmas.
