🎓 Education

- M.A. in Psychology from York University in 1995 Since her graduation from York University, Yoli has been working and learning in the field of psychology and neuroscience. She completed her PhD in neuroscience from Harvard University in 2007.Her work focus has been specific to the field of mental health and dementia, but she has insights for neuroscience and psychology as well. In her research, she has used functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and positron emission tomography (PET) to study the effects of different intervention models on mood, cognitive function, and brain physiology.Other recent projects that she has been working on include developing aphasia rehabilitation protocols and using fMRI to study the effects of meditation on stress and rumination. Yoli's current research is focused on the development of single-center intervention models to improve mental health in older adults with dementia. She is also developing a novel gift economy simulator to study the effects of gift economy policies on older adults with dementia.
