Born and raised in Southern California, Yao Morin is a data scientist and engineering officer with more than 15 years of experience in the technology sector. Yao Morin holds a B.S. in engineering from Southern California State University, and an M.S. in engineering from University of California at San Diego. Since her graduation from high school, Yao Morin has been orginally interested in electrical engineering. However, due to her pregnancies, she was unable to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. However, in 2001, she decided to get a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Yaomorin has been working as an engineer since 2001. Recently, she obtained her Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She is currently a Professor at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
