It has been a marathon of a decade to date, and it still feels like Day 1! Prior, I founded a travel business and a concierge business, both of which offered my great learning especially in all the screw ups that were involved, that paved the way to both conceiving PeoplePerHour and making it a success. We are now the largest freelance marketplace in Europe, and together with new innovations we are constantly launching - the latest being SuperTasker.com - we are growing internationally. We now have operations in London, Athens, Berlin, and New York. Prior - I worked in a large multinational Engineering company in the UK, for a whole 6 months ! Which was more than enough to teach me that a) I am totally unemployable b) a misfit in large businesses in particular and c) I need to start my own business. So I did - at the age of 22. Specialties: I dig in, roll up my cuffs, get my fingers burnt, fall to ashes, then I stand up, roll up my cuffs, dig in a little further till I find a spark, I nurture it, I follow it relentlessly until it lights a fire.
