I have the privilege of representing the university at a multitude of events on campus and around the community.
I guide 100 minute walking tours of campus to prospective students and their guests, while answering questions, sharing personal experiences, and explaining all that the University of Wisconsin has to offer. In addition to campus walking tours, I tailor specialty tours for groups ranging from 4th grade fieldtrips to returning alumni. I aim to provide quality customer service, through an informative and entertaining campus experience. From December 2013 to Present (2 years 1 month) Madison, Wisconsin AreaWisconsin BBA Outreach Ambassador @ I served as a student representative of the BBA student body by sharing the Wisconsin BBA experience with current business and non-business students. The goal was to expand admissions recruitment overall with a specific focus on under-represented audiences – including students of color, low-income, women, first-generation, LGBTQ, and transfer students. In addition, I gave presentations to pre-business students on the overall admissions process and resources available through the BBA program. With a large portion of majors on campus having some coursework overlap into the business world, my personal goal was to show all students how a business degree could work for them. From November 2014 to October 2015 (1 year) Madison, Wisconsin AreaCampus Lead Brand Representative @ From March 2014 to June 2014 (4 months) Madison, Wisconsin AreaEconomic Analysis Intern @ As an intern at Analysis Research Planning Corporation I was able to get first hand experience in the economic, business analytics, and financial consulting field. The internship was an invaluable experience that put my analytic, interpersonal and problem solving skills to the test. I was able to work well with a diverse group of interns, ranging from undergraduate college students to graduate candidates and recent MBA/J.D. graduates.
Some of my responsibilities included the collection, preparation and standardization of many different datasets, allowing for the forecast of economic liability and claim estimates for law firms representing solvent companies, companies in bankruptcy, and companies with M&A interests. Throughout the summer I also assisted Senior Analysts in evaluating and processing thousands of claims for small to multi-billion dollar trust organizations.
