In this position, I have trained hundreds of people in technical SEO, analytics and PPC, including many members of staff at White Hat Media. I have also been hands on with the identification and solving of a vast array of issues on websites, becoming the "go to guy" for almost all technical SEO issues, from site structure to analytics implementation. My favourite tasks generally involve really getting into the core issues on a website, surfacing underlying problems, which may be holding them back and then identifying the quickest & most efficient ways to fix or mitigate critical issues in the short term and work out long term strategies for fixing more ingrained problems. This is ideally done with process change which will stop the issue occurring in the future.

From 2013 to Present (2 years) Data Analyst @ Moving into the more technical side of SEO, I gained knowledge of website structure, its importance to search rankings and how to use site structure to provide excellent results for users, search engines and create optimised landing pages for PPC. These skills were honed through a large number of site audits during which I have analysed hundreds of different websites that have shown me some of the best and worst the web has to offer. This has given me a keen insight into what can go wrong on websites and also shown me a large number of potential solutions to many common issues and some not so common issues. While my technical SEO knowledge is excellent, I have a keen interest in learning more of finer points of web development and server implementation to allow for greater scope in being able to directly solve issues on websites I work with. I was also directly involved in the development of White Hat Media's tool Sitechecker, for which I wrote the scoring algorithm and used my knowledge of onsite SEO factors alongside research and other SEO experts to create a dynamic scoring system which can be updated quickly as SEO factors change over time.
