Wendi then worked as a marketing research analyst for American Express from November 1992 to October 1995. Wendi then became a senior vice president at Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. from October 1995 to November 2003. Wendi was promoted to president and CEO of the company from November 2003 to November 2007. Wendi left Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. to become the president and CEO of the Kraft Foods division of DuPont Corporation from November 2007 to May 2009. Wendi then resigned from the Kraft Foods division to become the president and CEO of Monsanto, Inc. from May 2009 to November 2013. Wendi was dismissed from Monsanto, Inc. after a public shareholders` revolt over her alleged abuses of power.
