💼 Past Experience

The experience of being a senior developer at CoxCOMET, LLC, was very interesting and I learned a lot of new things. I also achieved some success. As a senior developer, I was responsible for the development of a 1.2 petabyte 100-node linux Hadoop/YARN cluster processing 1 billion bid requests per hour and I helped to reduce the cost of the infrastructure by removing or consolidating duplicate services. Senior developers at CoxCOMET are also very good at keeping track of their work and are always going above and beyond to do whatever they can to make sure that their employees are doing their best. CoxComET is a very successful company and I really enjoyed my time there.

Wayne Wonchoba holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. Wayne then had a PhD from University of California, Berkeley in EECS in 1989.Wonchoba has a long history ofademic achievement and research, highlighted by his numerous published papers and academic citations. In addition to his academic achievements, Wonchoba has been involved in leadership roles and acted as a mentor to many peers. Wonchoba is also currently a post-doc at the University of Sheffield in England.Wonchoba first started his academic career at University of California, Berkeley in 1989, as a research scientist in the Energy Conversion Section. After two years at UC Berkeley, Wonchoba became an Actuator Laboratory scientist at the Japan Nuclear Power Corporation, where he worked for seven years. Wonchoba then moved to the University of California, Berkeley, as an instructor and research scientist in the Energy Conversion Section. In 1995, Wonchoba became a full professor at UC Berkeley.Wayne Wonchoba's current research focus is on the design and development of energy storage technologies, specifically in the areas of rechargeable lithium ion batteries, large-scale small-capacity solar thermal energy storage, and others. He is also the co-founder of Solar Energy Research Associates.Wonchoba has published extensively in IEEE and otherscientific journals, and his work has been cited more than 6,000 times. He is a member of many tarnished academies and societies, and has won many prizes, including the IEEE Carl Sagan Medal, the CAREER Award from The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the European Physical Journal C-39. In addition to his long list of awards, Wonchoba is also a recipient of the IEEE Community Medal, the ASME/Semiconductor Design Society Presidential Award, the IEEE Leroy Sihughian Prize, the American Physical Society Division of Magnetic Resonance (DMS) Award, and the American Physical Society Division of Solid-State andcommunication (APS) Award.Wonchoba currently lives in Sheffield, England with his wife and two young children. He is a Nuclear physicist by profession and enjoys active outdoor activities.

He was responsible for developing, installing, and maintaining the technology stack for a 1.2 petabyte 100-node linux Hadoop/YARN cluster processing 1 billion bid requests per hour, including multi-regional non-prod Hadoop environments both on-prem (vCenter) and AWS.Wayne also worked with Hadoop, Cassandra, and MapReduce on the cluster. He was also responsible for streamlining documentation and runbooks and for implementing internal deployments on small, Rancher- Provisioned Kubernetes clusters.Prior to that, he was a senior programmer and analyst at UCSF. He worked on team to deliver genomic data quarterly to customers. He was also responsible for administering and reliability testing of the grid systems used by the Breast cancer center and for developing theionic Molecular Imaging software used by the cancer center's principal investigators.
