Training at Bushinkan is: - Non-Competitive - Non-Confrontational - FUN Both the study of Aikido & Shinto Muso Ryu requires training in pairs. This can assist with developing a number of positive characteristics such as: - cooperation & respect of others - patience - awareness - confidence - self-discipline - tenacity Some of the benefits of Aikido training are improved: - Agility - Reflexes - Coordination - Flexibility - Relaxation - Targeting, distance & timing - Posture - Body Movement From January 2013 to Present (3 years) Acting Safety Advisor @ Advice on Workplace Health & Safety Risk Assessments Developed Hazardous Chemical Policy From March 2015 to September 2015 (7 months) Canberra, AustraliaProject Leader for ACT Health Shared Drive Restructure. Policy creation for EDIS in ACT Health @ Working in the department of Performance Information. SHARED DRIVE PROJECT In 2013 there was a major restructure of the ACT Health Directorate. That process resulted in the successful reorganisation of units and services, however, the 2 main shared drives have not yet been aligned with this change. This project is not only restructuring the shared drive but also incorporating standardisation of folder structure and file naming conventions in line with commonwealth and territory legislation with a view to preparing for the future. In June 2015 this project was cancelled as another method was preferred. EDIS (Emergency Department Information System) POLICY CREATION A review from the Auditor General in 2012 identified a lack of governance in relation to EDIS. Thus, a number of governance documents were developed along with a stringent mandatory training and access process. From June 2014 to March 2015 (10 months) Canberra, AustraliaData Quality Officer @ Perform root cause analysis of poor/inconstant data quality and develop systems and processes to improve them. From August 2010 to May 2014 (3 years 10 months) Clinical Discharge Liaison @ Perform root cause analysis and implement process/systems to improve discharge summary compliance.
