💼 Past Experience

In March of this year, I was announced as the new CEO of PLAYBOOK, a startup specific to women. It feels great to have a startup with my capabilities and to have the responsibility of leading it. As CEO, I will be working closely with the team’s founders to create the company’s programming, strategy, and operations. We will also be working on expanding and developing PLAYBOOK’s content, as well as marketing and expanding our brand.PLAYBOOK has been around for over five years, and we are now a successful Manhattan-based brand. Our audience is global and growing by the day. We currently have over one million listeners and, in 2019, we were mentioned in The New York Times, Buzzfeed, and Entrepreneur. In March this year, we were also named one of the Top 50 Most innovative Small businesses in the world by Thomson Reuters.PLAYBOOK has been a part of the mecca of social media - where women are center stage and where you can see powerful women conversationally shaping theboxes they live in. I am excited to help these amazing women continue their rises and to help new and upcoming women get their voice heard.As aShaper atGlobal Shapers Community, I have seen first-hand how important it is for businesses and women to work together. Al Obaidat has three years of professional experience as an interior and spatial designer from January 2004 to January 2008, working with various clients in the UK and internationally.
