Specialties: Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, system programming in C and C++, network programming, parallel programming, system administration, scripting in lua, perl, python.Software Engineer @ I work at Mimecast on spam filtering technologies, namely adopting my project "Rspamd" for the Mimecast email infrastructure. From February 2015 to Present (11 months) London, United KingdomPHD Student @ My research topic is the novel transport stack for using in the datacenters networks providing such features as strong data encryption, low latency connections establishment, dynamic selection of the optimal transport. From February 2013 to Present (2 years 11 months) Cambridge, United KingdomDeveloper @ bsd.port.mk rework, bsd.databases.mk initial design, miscellaneous ports maintainership. Since March 2013 I've started to participate in the FreeBSD pkg project and written the new SAT based solver for dependencies and conflicts resolution in Pkg. From 2005 to Present (10 years) Software Developer @ I've implemented the core of the OnApp storage system based on an event-driven loop. I was the author of the initial version of the OnApp CDN. I completed various tasks related to the OnApp Storage system: a system for building PXE boot disk, SCSI utilities and tweaks to the management interface. From November 2011 to January 2013 (1 year 3 months) Lead software developer @ I worked on Rambler mail internals to provide processing of more than 10 millions of e-mails per day and servicing of more than 50 millions of user's accounts. Here is the list of projects I've created working here: - Rspamd - rapid asynchronous spam filtering engine, based on scores, custom lua rules and advanced classification and metaclassification of emails. - Rmilter - sendmail milter filtering system that was designed to make all required mail checks: antivirus (clamav), antispam (rspamd or spamasssassin), greylisting, dcc, spf checks, dkim signing, recipients and sender regular expressions and many other features. - Rpop - pop3 fetcher for mail accounts synchronization written in C. It is based on beanstalk workqueue for tasks scheduling and own implementation of pop3 and imap protocols. - Nginx-SMTP-policy - asynchronous resolving proxy, that provides balancing functionality, regexp and DNSbl checks. From August 2007 to January 2013 (5 years 6 months) Moscow, Russian FederationChief system administartor. @ Tasks: writing various web applications for user's management, organizing jabber server, administering most of network services, organizing traffic filtering and QoS, creating mail system for BMSTU.
