He graduated from high school in 1987, and after a few years of studies at the Université de Montréal, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in computer science in 1990. After a few years of employment as a systems programmer in a small software company, he gained experience in developing new systems for the Canadian government. He moved to the United States in 1993, and worked for Microsoft for two years as a systems programmer in the Office of Government Services. He then moved to the North American divisions of Binary Tree, where he was responsible for developing new software products. He next moved to the Cloud & Digital Transformation products group at Microsoft, where he was in charge of developing new products and strategy for the Office of Digital Transformation. He also developed new technology products for the customer relationship management (CRM) and purchasing companies in the corporation. He resigned from Microsoft in January 2018 to become the Chief Innovation Officer (Cloud & Digital Transformation Products) at Binary Tree, a position he had held since June 2018.As the Chief Innovation Officer, Vincent Fournier plays a leading role in developing new products and strategies for the Cloud & Digital Transformation businesses at Binary Tree.
