My primary responsibility was to ensure all requisitions, quotes, and deliveries are managed correctly, in order to reach our customers at the correct cost and time, keeping CCE’s spending at a minimum. This involved raising purchase orders and monitoring each call from start to finish - ensuring customers have received their items on time and in the correct condition. I was to maintain direct professional relationships with our suppliers such as Acal, Chiltern and Hardware Associates, whilst ensuring my day to day office duties are completed efficiently following a strict procurement process. From March 2011 to August 2012 (1 year 6 months) IT Services Coordinator @ I was responsible for supporting the IT organization in EMEA. This included internal purchasing, such as raising requisitions against all company units in EMEA, maintaining inventory information, assisting with cost reduction activities, and other administrative tasks. I was to monitor stock levels and ensure I could provide staff with the equipment they required in a timely fashion to benefit both the employee and the company.Unfortunately, this role was more IT focused than originally advertised so I moved on to broaden my experience in purchasing. From November 2010 to March 2011 (5 months) Purchasing Administrator & Stock Control Assistant. @ I worked for the Uk's largest mobile phone distribution company. My primary responsibilities were to control stock for a number of different departments within the business, raising purchase orders ensuring correct pricing and meeting SLA’s. I was also the key contact for communication between the office and warehouse to ensure stock is booked correctly, on time and no problems occur. I had to maintain direct professional relationships with companies such as Nokia, Vodafone and Blackberry(RIM) while ensuring my day to day office duties were completed efficiently. This was a very challenging, demanding and high pressured role which allowed me to develop essential skills within the corporate world however I wanted to progress my career at a faster pace than DSL could offer. Leaving this company was a very difficult decision but I believe it is important to broaden your experience in order to benefit your career. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. From August 2009 to November 2010 (1 year 4 months) Customer Service Executive @ In my previous position I was a customer service agent for the Vodafone online store. I managed all aspects of customer orders including deliveries, returns and complaints.
