Vera Kopp scratches her temples and reflects on her fading memories of high school. She has vivid memories of USC pitching in the Diamondbacks game, and of sitting in the stands with her friends and family. “I had a great time,” she recalls of her time at USC.A few months later, Vera was ready to tackle her first full-time jobósim, her first professional work opportunity. She applied to work as a student at Stanford Graduate School of Business where she was awarded her Certificate Program in Advanced Project Management.Since then, Vera has made a couple of more pushes towards her professional career in a management or administration role. First, she applied to work for UEL - Universidade Estadual de Londrina where she met her current boss - and current love - a fellow transfer student. Vera enjoyed the opportunity to chat with her boss and learn more about the university.After that, she accepted an opportunity to work as an assistant administrator at a smaller school in her city. She loved the small business side of the work, as well as the opportunity to work both with her Hands on Her Distinctive Ways colleague as well as learn more from various boards and committees.Although Vera enjoyed her time as an assistant administrator, she recognized that she still had a lot of education left to bring to her professional career. She applied to attend UEL - Universidade Estadual de Londrina’s Master’s degree program in Administration. After receiving her MS in Administration from the university in September 2022, she is now ready to move on to her next step in her professional journey.
