Vanessa McAteer has a B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. When Vanessa McAteer founded her own interpretive counselling business in 2009, she knew she needed to have a solid background in education and work readiness. After examinations and a review of her transcripts, Vanessa McAteer realized that she had a wealth of coursework that would expedite work readiness measures and help her set goals for her business. With the support of her business mentor, Vanessa McAteer began exploring options to program her degree in education and work readiness.The first step was to obtain an accredited degree in education. Vanessa McAteer was lucky enough to find a degree from the University of Cincinnati that had a strong work readiness program. Additionally, Vanessa McAteer was motivated to obtain her education because she knew that her business would require her to have excellent work readiness skills. In addition to her degree from UC Irvine, Vanessa McAteer completed a program of online study that gave her a solid work readiness background.The next step was to secure a job that would prepare her to be an effective worker. Vanessa McAteer looked to her previous businesses to get a sense of what her ideal job would be. After sectoral assessments and a review of her job applications, Vanessa McAteer determined that she would be best suited to lead her own business and be a leader in her field. Vanessa McAteer then pursued an accredited degree in Work readiness and education, and eventually created a work readiness program at her business. With these programs in place, Vanessa McAteer has been able to insert herself into her ideal job with excellent work readiness skills.

Vanessa McAteer has over 10 years of experience in Recruiting and Talent Acquisition. With a special interest in the university recruiting process, McAteer was able to utilized her experience to help make Facebook the best recruitment organization it has ever been. She also worked with Riot Games, where she was able to help grow their R&D team.
