He has a long history of teaching in public schools, where he has taught both grade levels and special education. He has a knack for teaching students in a way that engages them and makes them feel like they are a part of the class. Additionally, Van Phillips is excellent at using technology in his teaching. He is computer-literate, and his classes use interactive laptops to teach.Van Phillips is also an excellent public speaker.
