Born and raised in the City of Nassau in the Bahamas, Tyrone Fitzgerald spent most of his childhood between his home country and the United Kingdom. Fitzgerald attended a public school in Nassau and then went on to Parish High School where he played football and cricket. After high school, Fitzgerald sought admission to the University of Exeter where he studied Business Administration and got his MBA in 1980. Fitzgerald then spent a year working as an investment banker for Brown Brothers Harriman and Leach Welch. He then worked for Wabash American Securities Company until 1984. After a year with Wabash American Securities, Fitzgerald joined the law firm of Halsbury Chambers. Fitzgerald first worked as an intern at Halsbury Chambers in August 2001 while he was still in law school.
