I’m a full-stack designer. I produce typographically rich, playfully interactive designs. I implement them with user-focused semantic HTML, savvy CSS, and lightweight Javascript. I comfortably incorporate these designs into powerful existing server applications, third party platforms, or build new software myself. I’m one of very few designers under thirty with over ten years of experience working with web, print, and native applications. I can collaborate and manage, bottomline and delegate. I’ve spoken publicly nearly 100 times.Co-founder, Designer, Developer, Editor @ I built a powerful CMS and SAAS to manage and publish a subscription-supported online magazine. The application was built from the ground up with Ruby on Rails, Stripe, and AWS to deliver content to subscribers via the web. In addition to building and maintaining the software, I also am solely-responsible for the advanced responsive layouts, and brand direction. Finally, I also am one of three editors. From November 2013 to Present (2 years 2 months) iOS Product Design @ From September 2010 to Present (5 years 4 months) Writer, Curator @ I managed abolish.me, a blog about the design of systems and things. From December 2012 to January 2014 (1 year 2 months) Developer and Managing Editor @ All Discontents was a style and theory blog which reported political insight and cultural commentary on emerging trends in art, music, fashion, food, architecture, and the internet. My position required an inside-out workflow of web curation: browsing a massive collection of RSS feeds, hand-selecting stories and products which seem to push the bounds of the sum, parsed cited material, and writing original content for context and insight. I develop the project on Squarespace 6, using state of the art CSS3 pseudo-selection for complex art direction activated by a simple and semantic markdown-to-HTML5 layer. From May 2013 to September 2013 (5 months) Marketing Director @ Developed brand strategy and promotional materials for the FFRF, a sister-project of the Telluride Film Festival. From September 2012 to January 2013 (5 months) Letterpress Operator, Compositor, Designer @ I was the co-owner of a small letterpress & design firm. Besides designing for web and out-of-house print, I prepared my designs for letterpress-ready photopolymer plates. I also composed type by hand, prepared and imposed forms, dampened paper, mixed inks to PANTONE, operated the press (C&P 8x10), operated a 30" guillotine papercutter, and hand-bound books. From October 2008 to January 2012 (3 years 4 months) Art Director, Editorial Board member @ Free Winona was a monthly newsprint journal distributed for free in Winona, MN. It published social commentary, critique, and information written for and by community organizers. I designed each of the 14 issues, and sat on the editorial board. From January 2008 to May 2009 (1 year 5 months) Producer and Designer @ Designed peripheral and collateral print products, satellite website campaigns, and executed order fulfillment. From September 2005 to May 2009 (3 years 9 months) Tyler Reinhard is skilled in: Art Direction, Adobe Creative Suite, Art, Creative Direction, WordPress, CSS, Video Editing, Interaction Design, Typography, Web Design, Book Design, HTML 5, Type Direction, Long-Document Design, Web Application Design
