Software Developer @ Participated in a development environment that blended agile and waterfall methodologies, designing and developing the Goals Powered Solutions/Investment product for Northern Trust Co. While working on the project, the product was nominated for and awarded recognition in the CIO 100 awards. The project required knowledge of Unity, Prism, WCF, WPF, C#, and the .NET platform From September 2013 to Present (2 years 4 months) CTO @ Oversee and ensure the successful execution of the company’s business mission through development and deployment of the company’s digital products. This requires envisioning the company’s service offerings as an online business, leading implementation of applications, planning for risk, and maximizing growth through both external and in-house technologies. From February 2013 to February 2014 (1 year 1 month) Contract Software Architect @ Worked as a small business consultant, software architect, and database architect in the Chicago area; providing innovative technical solutions for clients funded by the U.S. Army, Chicago's Crisis Control Center, Columbia College Chicago, multi-national corporations, and a few local start-up companies. From September 2011 to September 2013 (2 years 1 month) Intern @ Helped develop the .NET implementation of the website and then migrate the backend from MSSQL to MySQL. Also, worked extensively with the MVC3 framework. From July 2011 to September 2011 (3 months) Research Intern @ Assisted with the production and research of sensors for the use in distributed sensor networks. Gained experience with Gaze tracking software, Emotiv Headsets (as well as their API), and requisite technologies for developing aforementioned sensor networks.
