Ts Azhar Nayan has a B.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering) from Bradley University, which she obtained in 1991. She then studied at King Edward VII School in 1994 before completing her Doctor of Philosophy (D.O.P.) in Manufacturing Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Perlis in January 2021.She has been immediately recognised for her doctoral work with her thesis, "Using Simulation forStudy of Emissions from Chemical Process Technology Applications" being accepted for publication in a scientific journal.Since completing her PhD, she has worked as a research fellow at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom, and at the Malaysian Technology Development Board in Putrajaya, Malaysia. She has also been appointed as the associate dean for scientific in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universiti Malaysia Perlis.Her current work commitment includes research in the area of emissions studies for chemical process technology applications.

From this experience, Ng has learned about various offshore electrical and electronics construction projects, and has written several articles on this topic onOEEP's website. He also has experience in ISO 9001:2008 quality management, and has been a mentor to several engineers in the organization.Ng’s current role as design engineer for the OEEP is his fourth position in the organization. He started his role as the design engineer for the Offshore Electrical and Electronic Park (OEEP) in 2009 from within the company. From this position, Ng has been responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the engineering facilities in the park. He has also been responsible for providing guidance and supervision to the engineers in the park. In addition, Ng also has experience in ISO 9000:2008 quality management.In his previous positions at the company, Ng has learned about various offshore electrical and electronics construction projects. He has written articles on the topics of this type of construction, and has also been a mentor to several engineers in the company.Ng has a degree in engineering from the Singapore University of Science and Technology.
