My 30 plus years as a Sonographer has allowed me to build a wealth of knowledge that I love to share with students interested in learning the art and science of sonography. I have practiced and taught in many environments, allowing me to adapt to most any situation in this rapidly expanding field of diagnostic medicine. The future of medical ultrasound is very bright, and I am fortunate to have been mentored by some of the best in the field and look forward to many more years as an educator and clinician. Director of Ultrasound Services @ I am happy to announce I am taking care of patient's again, rather than traveling in planes to all parts of the world. I am now happy to be in a position that allows me a "person to person" patient care. It is nice to work with good people in the southern part of Texas again with patients who many of of us ignore. My business is as a soul proprietorship in the medical contracting business. I will contract to assist in applications training, serving clients in clinical settings as a medical sonographer, consulting in sonography related matters, accreditation matters, and supplemental staffing. I am also available to teach people who would love to learn medical sonography. I currently assist my clients in mobile medical sonography in the Houston area, and other places as needed. From October 2013 to Present (2 years 3 months) Ultrasound Instructor @ I currently contract to teach doctors and other healthcare providers to teach a variety of ultrasound examinations and treatments to include echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, trauma and point-of-care ultrasound, critical care ultrasound, abdominal, and OB-GYN ultrasound both domestically, and internationally with AHEC. I also provide applications training on a variety of ultrasound equipment, and function as a consultant in many areas of ultrasound to include accreditation and quality assurance. My contract through AHEC can grant you and your employees CAT1 CME. My services are on a contractual basis with AHEC. From July 1999 to October 2013 (14 years 4 months) Sonographer @ I provide provide medical ultrasound services to clients needing temporary assistance at their facility anywhere in the United States. From 2000 to 2010 (10 years) Director of Clinical Services @ I managed a great bunch of sonographers in many states. Time was spent on the airlines filling in for those with sick days. Loved it.
