đź“– Summary
Developer @ From June 2015 to Present (7 months) London, United KingdomLive Stream Graphics Developer @ I have worked with Laureate International Universities to create live stream graphics templates and clients (which run on the CasparCG Server) which they have then used on their streams. These include: - A full overlay template with they can customize and use as a dynamic title card for events. They can also set an event start time and it will count down and automatically switch to the live feed at the correct time. - A general lower third to their design specifications which will animate in, out and also animate between several different lower third contents if there is more than one. It allows the to specify the text dynamically in the client and immediately have it sent and updated in the template. - A template which allow them to show live tweets and facebook posts either as a lower third or have them scroller across the bottom of the screen in a ticker, along with the option to show the posters profile picture. I developed this as a team with Luke Moscrop who developed the client which receives the tweets and facebook posts live, and then lets the user specify which ones they want to send to the ticker or lower third. All of these templates were used successfully for the Clinton Global Initiative 2013 and screenshots can be found at the link below. From August 2013 to Present (2 years 5 months) Computing Manager @ From March 2013 to Present (2 years 10 months) Website Designer/Developer @ I developed the new results section which is a lot more versatile and also added a new forum to their site. The results section allows results to be added by teams after a fixture by logging in with a unique code and all the information is then automatically displayed and updated on the website. I also developed a content management system for it that the site admins can log into to add/remove players, manage teams and fixtures etc. All the information is stored securely in MySQL databases. From February 2010 to Present (5 years 11 months) Website Designer/Developer @ I developed the website for Lesley Miller, a glass artist, and added my own content management system so that she can log in remotely and upload/manage images in the gallery. From February 2010 to Present (5 years 11 months) IT Consultant @ I have set up a new windows network using 'Windows Server 2008 R2' with an untangle firewall. It is all based heavily on Active Directory and I have set a lot of custom group policies to make everything run smoothly and securely. All the computers are running 'Windows 7'. It is set up with roaming profiles and folder redirection. I also set up 'ESET Antivirus Endpoint Protection' and that was deployed and is managed through the 'ESET Remote Administration Console' on the server. From March 2011 to September 2012 (1 year 7 months) Video Editor @ I edited the majority of our leavers assembly videos and set up the YouTube page and also a Facebook page. One of them being: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gb7z569z1Ng You can find all of them at http://www.youtube.com/user/BeechfieldStudios From March 2012 to June 2012 (4 months) Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Software Engineering, First @ Lancaster University From 2012 to 2015 Further Maths, Physics, Music @ The Grange School Hartord From 2006 to 2012 Tom Jenkinson is skilled in: CSS, MySQL, Web Development, CMS, HTML 5, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, XHTML, Dreamweaver, Web Design, User Interface Design, AJAX, HTML + CSS, Front-end Development
