Dr. Xing Zhang received his B.E. in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, his minor B.E. in Packaging Engineering (Computer Animation Direction) from Wuhan University, China in 2008, and his M.S. in Computer Science from Binghamton University, USA, in 2010. He accomplished his Ph.D. degree within the Graphic and Image Computing Laboratory at
Dr. Xing Zhang received his B.E. in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, his minor B.E. in Packaging Engineering (Computer Animation Direction) from Wuhan University, China in 2008, and his M.S. in Computer Science from Binghamton University, USA, in 2010. He accomplished his Ph.D. degree within the Graphic and Image Computing Laboratory at Binghamton University in 2015. During his Ph.D. research, he developed the world's first spontaneous 3D dynamic facial expression database (BP4D-Spontaneous) and related 3D-based facial expression analysis algorithms and systems. He also interned at DreamWorks Animation during summer of 2014. His areas of research include: 3D dynamic facial expression sequence construction, analysis and recognition, computer vision, graphics, and human computer interaction.
