Success in today's world involves constantly adapting and learning, especially in the business and technology space. The last several years in real estate have been challenging, invloving many short sales with laborious negotiations between banks, foreclosure agents, buyers, sellers, and tenants. I am thankful for a lot of client referrals and for being able to add to my broad real estate experience. My software engineering work for the Department of Defense is focused on 2D and 3D mapping technologies. I have been able to expand my experience in aerial/satellite imagery, GIS search, mobile application development, KML and Google Earth integration, and NASA's WorldWind. My current goals are to continue to learn as the market changes and deliver results for my companies, customers, and partners through challenging economic times. My lifelong professional goals at present are two fold: 1) Expand investments through capital and strategic partnerships. I would like to be a principal of an investments holding company where I can take some of my own business ideas to market. My current interests lie in many areas, including mapping software, high efficiency solar and renewable energy production, green commercial and residential architecture, revival of the World's Toughest Endurance Expedition race - the Eco Challenge, software & social networking, and health and wellness. 2) Start a 100-year foundation to help tackle many of the issues that I feel plague our society.
