From June 2012 to Present (3 years 5 months) Greater Los Angeles AreaVice President, Information Technology @ Accountable for CareFusion’s worldwide infrastructure: data centers, voice and data networks, IT security, service desk, desktop engineering, IT procurement and vendor management. From August 2010 to June 2012 (1 year 11 months) San Diego, CAPrincipal @ Performed multi-phased projects in product development, production processes and technology refinement for a global highly specialized apparel manufacturer. Developed a modernization plan for their ERP, IT systems and distribution capabilities. Implemented corporate-wide cutting-edge technology systems to meet changing business requirements and organizational objectives systems for the largest junior women's apparel manufacturer in the United States. From March 1994 to February 2000 (6 years) Sr. Programmer Analyst @ Senior member of end-user support team that provided technical consulting to users on the UCLA administrative network. Actively participated in the design of UCLA's fiber optic backbone project to link all campus buildings to the campus network control center (NCC). Assumed a key role in developing technical specifications for Netware bridge and IBM router deployment for UCLA fiber backbone access. Supported 150 user Novell departmental and test network. Researched and evaluated new networking products including hardware and software. Defined product standards and made technical recommendations which impacted all UCLA network users.
