Founder and Chief Data Scientist @ Algoritmica makes predictive maintenance and performance monitoring software that predicts asset failures and detects underperformance. By providing real time anomaly detection on asset sensor data, we allow our customers to decrease downtime and maintenance costs. At Algoritmica, I'm responsible for developing our anomaly detection techniques. In addition, I regularly consult with our clients and help develop custom analytics solutions. This work has led to several publications, one of which was awarded the Lindley Prize. In addition to theoretical research, I also worked on applied projects such as developing a predictive analytics solution for publishing company De Persgroep. Finally, I was involved in teaching two courses in the Econometrics bachelor program, for which I received my department's "Top Lecturer" award. From September 2011 to December 2011 (4 months) Cambridge, United KingdomQuantitative Trader and Market Maker @ As an independent trader, I developed automated electronic trading and market making strategies for the horse racing betting markets at Betfair.com.
