Known for his expert analytical skills and his knack for understanding complex sentences, Tibor BALINT is a versatile speaker and writer. He has expertise in Hungarian, English, German, and French.Born in Hungary, BALINT earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Wirtschaftsuniversitat Wien in 2003. For the next decade, he worked as a financial analyst at a commercial bank in Hungary. Soon, he recognized his potential to work in the language learning industry, and decided to pursue a degree in Linguistics from the Budapest Corvinus University in 2006.BALINT continued studying at Rákóczi Grammar School Sárospatak where he majored in Hungarian Presonetyography and Morphology. He also completed an internship with the Hungarian National Electoral Service in 2007. Following his graduation, BALINT started working at the Budapest-based news agency MTI, where he held various positions including head of news content, news editor, and assistant news editor.In 2011, BALINT relocated to Canada, where he worked as a language professor at the University of Montreal. In 2014, he transferred to the University of Ottawa where he currently serves as a professor of linguistics and translator.Throughout his education, BALINT cultivated a proficiency in both Hungarian and English. He is a highly experienced member of linguistics and translation communities in Hungary and Canada.Since moving back to Canada in 2011, BALINT has been working as a translator for the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). His work has included translating a range of official language documents for the CRTC, including regulations, information notices, and financial statement releases. Additionally, he has worked as a consultant to help various multimedia companies and cultural organizations produce translated versions of their programming.BALINT wholeheartedly enjoys practicing his Hungarian language. He also enjoys translation and translation-related hobbies, such as imagining possible translations of various Euronymics and classic works of literature.Despite his experience and expertise in many different languages, BALINT still finds himself struggling with complex sentences and sentences with complex structures.
