He also led the transition of Google’s products from a legacy to a Cloud-based platform. He was also responsible for the establishment of Google’s Corporate Information Technology Systems, which manage all of Google’s company-owned technology systems. While at Google, he also led the development of the Google Now card and AI control system, as well as the project that yielded the now-standard definition of search.After a two-year stint as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of independent software company Oracle in San Francisco, he took the reins as the President there in September 2006. There, he led a product development team that ships products that generated $4 billion in annual revenue, expanding the company’s software development budget by 65%. He also presided over the transformation of Oracle’s products, introducing leading suites of Cloud services as well as building the world’s most automated workplace.
