My current role focuses on the architecture and integration between our eCommerce sites and various internal/external applications. In addition I am managing the internal web development team and oversee our SCM solution and build processes.
As my job history shows, I have flip-flopped several times between software development and management positions. The grass always seems greener on the other side. In the end I do require a certain amount of hands on work in order to be at the top of my game and remain satisfied in my role.
