In order to get his creative juices flowing again, Vassilakis took up a two-year program in drawing, painting and sculpture atCalifornia's California School of the Arts.Theo Vassilakis' notable accomplishments include being a two-time winner of the prestigious Stroud Award for First Novel in the United Kingdom, and the Unsung America Award from the Academy of American satire.
