After a successful career as a professional trumpet player in the Washington D.C. area, I took the plunge and traveled west where I settled in the heart of the media triangle of Burbank between Olive & Alameda. New Wave Entertainment was my new home and I learned many new and wonderful things about the Production and Post Production environments. Many of my close colleagues and friends are from this time. Then after a brief stint freelancing playing trumpet here in LA, I then decided to enter back into the world of Post Production where I currently hold my position as Director of Business Development at SMV Complete Media. SMV is one of the leading providers of Post Production and Broadcast Media service providers available in the whole of LA. SMV has a second facility in the heart of Burbank which greatly expands our ability to service studio and network clientele. It's been a great pleasure learning and growing here at SMV. With such a strong foundation, I'm truly looking forward to new and greater accomplishments which are in store for 2015. I also perform regularly in local symphony orchestras here in LA. I'm a member of AFM Local 47 Musicians Union.Director of Business Development @ I provide business development solutions for post production and closed captioning/subtitling services throughout the entertainment, broadcast media and distribution industries. From April 2005 to Present (10 years 9 months) Principal Trumpet @ I perform with the SMC College Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensembles. From September 2014 to Present (1 year 4 months) PA / Night Mgr. @ Led a team of Production Assistants. Catered to the needs of the creative services, motion picture advertising, studio and finishing & post production worlds. From 2002 to 2004 (2 years) Freelance Trumpet @ Professional freelance trumpet player and music teacher. Performed in many ensembles including Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, National Chamber Orchestra (now know as The National Philharmonic), Washington Chamber Symphony and Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Played in many Jazz and Latin groups. Studio and premiere performances.
