I have been working at Rose Associate for over 18 years. Most of my career has been in Human Resources however in 2011 I was given the opportunity to become the office manager while continuing to provide effective and efficient HR services to management employees. I enjoy ensuring the working conditions at the Main Offices are safe, clean and well supplied with equipment and materials within budgeted costs and maintaining professional relationships with vendors. I also provide direction to Mailroom and Reception employees.

Coordinate office/work space movement as employees are hired, promoted or terminated and as needed for special projects.
Administer and renews furniture, fixture and equipment contracts as needed.
Administer office supplies contracts, processes and procedures.
Issue requests for proposals for new, cost-effective equipment and facility maintenance and cleaning contracts.
Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures as appropriate to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services delivered.
Provide daily supervision, scheduling, training, and motivation for Mailroom and Reception employees.
Participate in developing functional goals, objectives and systems.
Administer the Temporary Employee hiring and placement process.
Manage and reconcile petty cash, holiday bonuses/tips
Review and sign off on all vendor invoices for accuracy and allocations.
Coordinate holiday party, flu shot program & other office functions for the company to include annual holiday schedule.
Maintain Security System including security access cards for all employees
Liaison between building management for office issues and security.
Process FMLA, Disability, Works Compensation, Military Leaves, and other Leaves of Absence in accordance with the laws and policies for management employees.
Process new hire packets (new user forms, workstation set-up)
Conduct new hire orientation.
Coordinate and/or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons for leaving, and to identify issues/trends where intervention/action is needed. From November 2011 to Present (4 years 2 months) Human Resources Generalist @ Report directly to the Managing Director of Human Resources
Coordinate and manage recruitment for all temporary and full time employees company wide.
Conduct Benefits Orientation for all new hires and exit interviews.
Maintain HRIS system (new hires, termination, vacation, sick, compensation, personal data)
Coordinate company benefits program including medical & dental. Review and reconcile monthly billing for benefit tracking.
Maintain all HR forms including I-9 forms and new hire folders.
Employee verification and letters of employment.
Distribute performance evaluation to managers for administration.
Serve as a resource to all levels of management on policies and procedures, troubleshoot various human resources related questions and problems.
Conduct and organize pre-employment drug screens and background checks of all union/management applicants company wide.
Liaison to residential management and building management to ensure proper compliance with Rose Associates screening/new hire procedures.
Prepare and process billing for various corporate vendors.
Place all advertisements requests.
Coordinate holiday party & annual flu shot program.
Maintain Security System including security access cards for all employees.
Work with payroll supervisor to administer and review all workers compensation forms for the insurance companies and brokers.
Assist payroll supervisor in the weekly administration of payroll, which includes adding of times sheets, inputting and posting for all management and union employees.
Prepare and distribute 941 forms for company quarterly taxes.
Ordering of company stationary & business cards for all employees company wide.
Constant contact with building management.
Conference call reservations. From March 1997 to October 2011 (14 years 8 months)
