Tawni Nazario-Cranz is currently a Venture Operating Partner at SignalFire. She initially did her undergraduate work at UC Berkeley, where she completed her B.A. in 2006 in Business Administration. After graduating from college, Nazario-Cranz worked as a human resources officer at CHRO, at FedExKinko's as a HR generalist, and at Work Incorporated as a director of HR. From there, Nazario-Cranz moved on to become a chief Talent Officer for Netflix.In 2018, Nazario-Cranz replaced Donte Montero as the CPO of Waymo, the largest driverless car company in the world. She worked at Waymo from June 2018 to January 2019. Under Nazario-Cranz's leadership, Waymo became the firstDriverless company to be accredited by the National Academy of Science.In January 2019, Nazario-Cranz was appointed CTO of Netflix, a position that she held from April 2007 to June 2017. Under Nazario-Cranz's leadership, Netflix became one of the most successfulNetflix companies. During her time as CTO, Nazario-Cranz developed theNetflix HR playbook and implemented numerous changes to theNetflix corporate culture.Nazario-Cranz is also a board member andcomp committee chair of Arrival, a company that provides a platform for starting and running her own startups.
