Tara is Senior Associate with Spencer Stuart's Leadership Advisory Services Practice. She specializes in advising boards and chief executive officers on the capabilities and potential of their teams, and the development of strategies to prepare executives for C-suite and CEO succession.
Tara performs all aspects of the assessment and advisory process- discerning the needs of client organizations via stakeholder interviews, creating a process framework and position specification, and performing capability-based interviews, 360 referencing and the administration of Spencer Stuart’s proprietary Executive Intelligence instrument and Cultural Diagnostic tools. The combined findings of these efforts are translated into advisory recommendations and executive development plans.
Prior to joining the Executive Assessment Practice, Tara spent six years with Spencer Stuart's executive search business. During this time, she was a leader in building out the firm's global Enterprise Software Practice, served as Lead Practice Associate, and was a core member of the Technology, Communications and Media team.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Tara began her career in search with a Boston-based boutique firm. Tara also previously served as a member of the Human Resources group at Linsco/Private Ledger Financial in San Diego.
Tara graduated from Amherst College with a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish.
