In this team we dealt with each file from conception to completion and we managed our own caseload made up of collectively over 750 files. My role included opening files and carrying out security checks, dealing with correspondence between our department and clients and other firms, proof reading draft deeds and completed and executed documents and investigating title to property, amongst other administrative tasks. On both these occasions, I was able to gain the relevant experience in the office, undertaking filing and administration tasks, as well as observing client interviews.
