In that role, I: • Implemented standardized contract templates and a document management system, drastically reducing turnaround time for transactional matters from several weeks to a managed SLA of 24 hours to 5 business days, and increasing document organization and retention. • Supported human resources team for the U.S. Division, including managing employment based litigation, responding to attempted unionization of service professionals in New York, and development of U.S. policies in relation to the E.U./German policies of parent company.• Managed all outside counsel as well as legal relations with parent company. • Assisted with various compliance issues arising from working within the financial, retail and gaming industries.• Managed commercial litigation resulting in judgments and/or settlements in excess of $2 million while reducing total outside legal spending by more than 50% in first year.
